Finding scholarships for DPT school became easier when I stopped treating it like one huge search and started treating it like a system: save, sort, verify, draft, request, submit, and renew.

Step 1: Save every possible fit
At first, do not overthink. Save DPT scholarships, PTA-to-DPT scholarships, healthcare scholarships, state PT association awards, minority scholarships, first-generation scholarships, women in healthcare awards, and graduate student funding options.
Step 2: Verify the official details
Before drafting anything, open the official source. Confirm deadline, eligibility, award amount, essay requirements, recommendation letters, transcripts, and whether the award is renewable.

Step 3: Track the moving pieces
The biggest scholarship mistake is relying on memory. Track your essay status, recommendation status, submission date, notes, renewal details, and last checked date. That is exactly why I created the PTA to DPT Scholarship Tracker.
