About Iris

I’m building a healthcare career—and a life big enough to hold it.

I’m Iris Lee, a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant and current Doctor of Physical Therapy student. I share the places I go, the systems I build, the movement education I care about, and the questions I am exploring about better care.

The story behind the site

Healthcare taught me to pay attention to the whole person.

My journey began in inpatient rehabilitation as a Physical Therapist Assistant, working with older adults and people recovering from neurological and geriatric conditions. That experience shaped how I think about movement: not as a perfect routine, but as confidence, participation, dignity, and connection to daily life.

Now I’m a DPT student balancing coursework, clinical growth, finances, travel, and the desire to keep building a life that feels expansive. Iris The Travel PT is where those pieces meet honestly.

The four worlds are not separate brands. They are four ways I am learning to build a meaningful life and career.

Why these worlds coexist

One person. Four connected parts of the journey.

Travel · Where I’m going

Travel keeps the world large.

I share first-person Korea and China notes, solo-travel context, planning tools, and practical travel-therapy resources. I separate what I experienced from what still needs an official source.

Built to Bloom · What I’m building

Student life needs room to breathe.

Scholarships, DPT resources, study support, planning systems, and The PT Pathway all belong here—not as a separate résumé, but as tools for building a life alongside school.

Wellness · How I can help you move

Movement education should feel human.

My current work centers on general education, healthy aging, caregiver support, community workshops, and sustainable routines. I do not market independent physical therapy treatment.

TelePT · How I’m rethinking care

Better tools still need clinician judgment.

TelePT is an investigational project exploring remote-care workflows, measurement, review, and evidence visibility. It is not a diagnostic or autonomous clinical system.

What I’m building now

A clearer path between ideas and useful next steps.

I’m continuing toward DPT licensure, developing educational resources, refining planning tools, sharing authentic travel stories, and exploring TelePT through a safety-bounded research lens. I’m also available for aligned wellness workshops and collaborations within my current scope.
