What stayed with me

I honestly just thought the series was a really good read.

Reading it as an adult brought back this strange sense of childhood nostalgia, even though I didn’t actually grow up reading the books. I can understand why so many people loved the story when they were younger — and why people still love it now.

More than anything, it made me wish I had been someone who read more books as a kid. I think I would have really loved Harry Potter then.

Maybe part of what stayed with me was realizing that sometimes you can meet a story later than everyone else and still understand why it mattered so much.
