Thoughts After Finishing

I really liked Fourth Wing. The ending caught me completely off guard, and I honestly was not expecting this book to make me cry. By the end, I felt so much for Violet and Xaden, especially Xaden; his character landed with me more than I expected. Their relationship became much more emotional than I thought it would, and the ending left me needing to know what happens next.

What Surprised Me

The ending was completely unexpected. I thought I knew the kind of emotional ride I was getting, and then the book went somewhere much more intense.

Follow-Up Reflection

I moved right into Iron Flame because the ending left me needing to know what happens next.
